The founding partners of Astrid Advisors have close to four decades’ worth of experience in the financial industry, the majority of which has been spent capital raising in-house for alternative asset managers. Having consistently met and often surpassed fundraising targets, we have a deep understanding of the strategies in which we specialise and the objectives of the investor community.
We are knowledgeable in our field, but equally important, curious: curious to understand more about the world around us, curious to research and understand the strategies that will be relevant to institutional investors’ portfolios in the future, and curious to explore how we can bring together investment strategies and institutional investor portfolios through long-term partnerships.
Kate Campbell, Founding Partner
Kate is a co-founder of Astrid Advisors. She has 20 years’ experience of capital raising and capital markets, starting her career in investment banking, equity capital markets and prime brokerage. Before Astrid Advisors, Kate was co-Head of European Distribution for AMP Capital and, alongside Louisa, established their European client business, raising a series of fund vintages for their private infrastructure equity and debt platforms. Kate began her career at Deutsche Bank, working in equity capital markets and equity sales, and subsequently worked at Bear Sterns and JP Morgan, as an Executive Director in the capital introduction team assisting hedge funds with their marketing and fundraising. Kate has a Masters in Spanish and French from Edinburgh University and is fluent in both.

Louisa Yeoman, Founding Partner
Louisa is a co-founder of Astrid Advisors and has worked in capital raising and investment management for close to two decades. Prior to setting up Astrid Advisors, Louisa was co-Head of European Distribution for AMP Capital and, alongside Kate, established AMP’s European client business, raising a series of fund vintages for their private infrastructure equity and debt platforms. Louisa began her career in hedge funds and spent many years fundraising across a range of strategies for Moore Capital and GLG Partners. In 2019, Louisa was named in the Infrastructure Investors’ inaugural Rainmaker Top 20 list. She has a Bachelor of Science (1st Class) in Psychology from University College London.

Sophie Armstrong-Flemming, Office Manager
Sophie Armstrong-Flemming is Astrid Advisors’ invaluable Office Manager. Since her MA at Edinburgh University, she has had many years’ experience holding a number of client-facing, marketing and administrative roles in a variety of industry sectors including real estate, advertising and education.
