The founding partners of Astrid Advisors have close to four decades’ worth of experience in the financial industry, the majority of which has been spent capital raising in-house for alternative asset managers. Having consistently met and often surpassed fundraising targets, we have a deep understanding of the strategies in which we specialise and the objectives of the investor community.
We are knowledgeable in our field, but equally important, curious: curious to understand more about the world around us, curious to research and understand the strategies that will be relevant to institutional investors’ portfolios in the future, and curious to explore how we can bring together investment strategies and institutional investor portfolios through long-term partnerships.
Kate Campbell, Founding Partner
Kate is a co-founder of Astrid Advisors. She has 20 years’ experience of capital raising and capital markets, starting her career in investment banking, equity capital markets and prime brokerage. Before Astrid Advisors, Kate was co-Head of European Distribution for AMP Capital and, alongside Louisa, established their European client business, raising a series of fund vintages for their private infrastructure equity and debt platforms. Kate began her career at Deutsche Bank, working in equity capital markets and equity sales, and subsequently worked at Bear Sterns and JP Morgan, as an Executive Director in the capital introduction team assisting hedge funds with their marketing and fundraising. Kate has a Masters in Spanish and French from Edinburgh University and is fluent in both.

Louisa Yeoman, Founding Partner
Louisa is a co-founder of Astrid Advisors and has worked in capital raising and investment management for close to two decades. Prior to setting up Astrid Advisors, Louisa was co-Head of European Distribution for AMP Capital and, alongside Kate, established AMP’s European client business, raising a series of fund vintages for their private infrastructure equity and debt platforms. Louisa began her career in hedge funds and spent many years fundraising across a range of strategies for Moore Capital and GLG Partners. In 2019, Louisa was named in the Infrastructure Investors’ inaugural Rainmaker Top 20 list. She has a Bachelor of Science (1st Class) in Psychology from University College London.

Simon Ellis, Senior Advisor
Simon joined Astrid Advisors in 2023 as Senior Advisor to help drive its continued success as an infrastructure specialist and the next growth phase of recruitment and European expansion. Simon has 30+ years of finance and infrastructure market experience in leading transaction teams in the infrastructure sector, and an unrivalled network in the market. Most recently working as Partner and Head of Global Origination at AMP Capital, during his time there, he worked alongside co-founders Louisa Yeoman and Kate Campbell for over a decade.

Elliot Behan, Director
Elliot is a Director at Astrid Advisors, with many years’ experience of fundraising and investor relations in investment management. Prior to joining, Elliot worked at AMP Capital in the European client team; responsible for raising capital for clients invested in their private infrastructure equity and debt platforms. Elliot began his career at Schroders, where for three years he worked with UK pension schemes invested across a range of asset classes. He is a holder of the Investment Management Certificate (IMC), has passed CFA Level 1 and has completed a course in Sustainable Finance at the University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL). He holds a BSc in Economics from the University of Southampton.

Bhavisha Patel, Operations Manager
Bhavisha leads, develops and drives change across our operational, finance and compliance functions. Ahead of joining Astrid Advisors, Bhavisha gained skills in analytical strategy as well as discretionary broking across multiple asset classes. Her experience ranges from top tier investment banks to independent boutiques. More recently, Bhavisha gained invaluable experience in business development, financial management and leadership from establishing and progressing stand-alone businesses within the education and outdoor pursuits sectors. She has a Masters in International Securities, Investment and Banking from Reading University’s ICMA Centre as well as a Bachelor of Science in Economics from City University.

Sophie Armstrong-Flemming, Office Manager
Sophie Armstrong-Flemming is Astrid Advisors’ invaluable Office Manager. Since her MA at Edinburgh University, she has had many years’ experience holding a number of client-facing, marketing and administrative roles in a variety of industry sectors including real estate, advertising and education.
